Follow Up with Opportunities Given. If you are given an opportunity for some new business then follow through, don’t expect the person that gave you that lead or opportunity to do all the work for you. Or, if someone gives you some names of good leads make sure you call them. Especially if they already called these people to let them know you would be calling. If you don’t plan on calling be up front and honest so that they don’t go out of their way to make that phone call for you. Bottom line: follow through with your leads, and with what you say you are going to do. Strong relationships are built on following through with the opportunities that are given to you.
